However, we understand that there may be situations where you might need to return a product. This Return Policy outlines the terms, conditions, timelines, and processes for returning items purchased through our official website, www.rodtakes.in (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”).
This policy is applicable to all customers across India who have purchased directly from our website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Return Policy.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, your product must meet the following conditions:
1. The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all original tags, labels, and accessories intact
2. The request for return must be made within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery
3. The product must be accompanied by the original purchase invoice or receipt
4. Products must not fall under the Non-Returnable Items category (see Section 2 below)
Products that fail to meet the above criteria may be rejected for return at our discretion.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, safety, and quality reasons, the following categories of products are strictly non-returnable:
· Personal care items (toothbrushes, razors, grooming tools, etc.)
· Undergarments, lingerie, and swimwear
· Beauty and cosmetic products
· Baby care consumables (diapers, wipes, feeding bottles)
· Perishable goods (food items, flowers, plants)
· Customized or personalized products (bespoke) made specifically for your order
· Clearance, “final sale,” or discounted items purchased during promotional sales
· Electronics or gadgets where the seal is broken, unless defective
· Jewelries which can be attributable to any kind of direct contact to the skin (either healthy or unhealthy)
3. Return Process
If you wish to return an eligible item:
1. Contact our customer service team within the 7-day return window via email or phone (details in Section 8).
2. Provide your order number, a clear reason for return, and photographs (including shipment & sealed product’s unboxing video) of the item showing its new and current condition.
3. Once your request is approved, you will receive a return authorization number along with the return shipping address.
4. You needn’t pack the product, but handover the product in its original packaging along with original box, shipment to avoid damage during transit.
5. Ship the item back using a reliable courier service. Return shipping costs are generally borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective product, wrong item shipped).
4. Condition Assessment
All returned products undergo a thorough quality check upon arrival at our facility. If the product passes inspection, we will proceed with the refund or replacement process as per our Refund Policy. If the returned product fails quality inspection (e.g., shows signs of use, damage, missing parts), it will be shipped back to you, and no refund will be issued.
5. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. If you require a different size, color, or model, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order on the Platform.
6. Returns Due to Defects or Wrong Items
If the product you receive is defective, damaged, or not as described, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We may require photo or video evidence to verify the issue. In such cases, RodTakes will cover the return shipping costs.
7. Delayed or Lost Returns
RodTakes is not responsible for products lost or damaged during return transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of postage until your return is processed.
